haveing wrecked a big end at anglsea at the weekend, upon striping the motor to find there is a 1wg crank in my 3tj. didnt know these cranks fitted (you live & learn ) they just seem heaver than the 3tj crank, as anybody else done this ?

You just answered the question i asked last wk! I was told they were the same and could be swapped.

If you want a 1wg one i have a few and I have a 3tj one. Make me an offer if you're interested in one

Just in case I ever get in a life or death situation were I have to pick the difference between a 3tj and 1wg crank to escape the clutches of a evil genius.
What is the difference ?

1wg has 1wg stamped on it, 3tj has you guest it 3tj, 1wg is heaver !
