Fueling problem?

Post by aaron0288 »

Right guys, just got myself a bandit, and after running fine for the first few days, has started to have problems. Below 5500rpm, especially in the lower gears, and only on part throttle, it sounds as if its running on 2/3 cylinders. As soon as I open her up, the engine smooths out and runs as normal. Could this be a fueling problem or spark plugs maybe?

Id cheek your plugs first, if one is playing up it should be sooty, try swoping them around, check low side connections are good and check HT leads and plug caps are on tight. If not then move on to the fuel, it may be the o'rings as these seem to cause 101 problems.
