3EN2 swinging arm maybe needed
chain adjusters f**ked in my one.
Could get them timeserted, but if there's one laying around somewhere that is unloved and needs a home (with good adjusters obviously!) then I might be in the market.
amongst the last jobs to do, then it's a trackday....!

Re: 3EN2 swinging arm maybe needed
I've got a spare EN2 swing arm kicking about. It's got a typical good scuff where the exhaust was whacked into the side of it by a prior owner who obviously binned it... but it's straight and true.
I'll have a look around tomorrow night and see if I have a set of adjusters to go with it.
I'd probably take £15 quid for the arm, plus postage which would be about £7 quid via Parcelforce 48 hour.
I'll take pics tomorrow night also.
BTW: What rear wheel are you running, standard EN2?

yup, wheel = stock 3EN2 - would love to know what options I've got at the back end though - I have an R6 shock coming, I have my hooks into a set of rising dogbones and all thats left is to think about at the back end is decent rim sizes.
whats the options using the stock swinger?
The chain adjustment issue has been sorted, but I might still be keen on taking that arm from you especially if there was a spindle and adjusters with it (my ones are scraped). This swinging arm has seen better days thanks to the artist formerly known as Declangaelic throwing it up the road 3 years ago!
Wasn't it yourself that wanted a 3EN2 CDI? - if it was, I feel a swap coming on, cos I got one.....!
very very close to being ready for it's first trackday...pics tonight.

... on ebay .... ???I have my hooks into a set of rising dogbones
an unwanted never fitted item ... that my auction stealer is qued up for ....
I need a pair as I have a R6 ready to go in but if there's a way of copying them then it would be better for both of us

auction stealer? - can i compete with that? sounds like a fight to the death between man and machine....!
Yeah - i know what you mean about copying these things - I have a father in law that is in engineering, I'll ask him. Let's make a pact that dimensions are made available to whoever may win the item.
Good Luck Mr Evil, may the best man (or automated programme) win....!

Re: 3EN2 swinging arm maybe needed
it's not the best ... it's the most cash.
If your father in law can copy them then I'll let you have them for your bid. If we both bid then it's just going to cost one of us money .... and then the other will still need to pay for the copies ....
Let me know if they can be done and if your father in law can do a few extra sets he can sell through this site and make a bit of beer money. Makes sense huh ???

Re: 3EN2 swinging arm maybe needed
I've just been in the garage (cut the tank off the bottom of my TCAT tank to turn it into a lightweight fake cover, but still keeping the TCAT tank shape) Now I can fit my stock EN2 tank back under it). - Was a proper mad moment!
Sorry, I've checked and I don't have a spindle or adjusters. Thanks for the offer, unfortunatley for me, I paid for a CDI on ebay recently. Your still welcome to the swingarm if you want it.
In terms of back end swap, you could fit a 3TJ wheel (with some custom spacers and machining to your sprocket carrier). Beware, there are 2 3EN2 swingarms. A MK1 and MK2. The MK1 is 298mm internal width between adjuster holes. The MK2 is 230mm. You need to the MK2 for a succesful 3TJ swap.
There is also a MK1 and 2 EN2 frame and the 3TJ swingarm is a direct fit into the MK2 frame, but not the MK1. I think some mods still need doing to clear some of the rear exhaust mounts or foot pegs etc.
My spare swing arm is a MK1 hence it being spare as I picked up a MK2 to do the 3TJ back end swap.

Re: 3EN2 swinging arm maybe needed
as someone who has both a 3EN2 and a 3EN1 at home, let me have a look.
(not that you'll realise this is whats happening, but I am now going to look in the garden at the 3EN1...back in a moment)
.

.
.
ok, am back
totally different! - 2 has blocks floating in channels on the outside of the arm, the 1 has them enclosed in the swinging arm.
thanks for thinking of us anyway.
still looking for any 400 with EXUP downpipes too...in solidish nick.
