Clutchplate thickness??

Hi,

My clutchplates are completely wasted, so replacement is required.
I could spend a hell of a lot of money on new ones, but I've got a couple of spare engines for my NC24, complete with the clutch.

My question being, how thick do the plates have to be at a minimum?

Thanx!

Just think how much this is goin to be costing you in oil/filter/gaskets etc, ild rather spend the extra bit of money that way you know it SHOULD last a wile . . .

but sorry I can not help with minimum thickness on the clutch plates

According to Haynes the friction plates are 2.90 - 3.00mm standard with a 2.70mm service limit. :geek:

For that sort of money I'd rather buy 'em at my dealer!

Thanks for the info!
