CDI - Ignition coils - Signal generator - or anywhere in between, good luck.

I am not greatly familiar with the GSXR electrics yet but the I believe it is usually a magnetic pickup from the engine's flywheel (sends a signal to the CDI so it knows where the pistons are so it can sort out the timimg or something to that effect) :|

Ummm don't swear round here (although vfr was my 1st choice but couldn't resist a cheap Gix4!).

I have a 160 on mine.

You'll Be alright with either a 150 or 160 rear. Standard sizes are 120/60-17 Front, 160/60-17 Rear (GK76)

Get the carbs off and apart. Clean them out thoroughly, blow the jets through with an airline. Replace every single o ring on them you can find.
