Iv had a problem with NC24 cracking the cylinder heads, anyway sorted out some replacments but couldnt find any head gaskets. I started thinking about the NC30 head gasket and if it would fit, well a very nice man (CSMJ1) posted me a used NC30 head gasket, it fits perfectly. The only difference is two small lugs that stick out on the exhaust side (dont know what they for either!).
So if you need a head gasket for an NC24 the NC30 ones will fit, and I just wanted to thank CSMJ1 thank you :)

BTW, has anyone else dones this? have they had an NC24 running as it should with NC30 head gaskets? I may have got a little excited back there in my previous post - I just wanted to make sure that it'll be all fine.

Can anyone recommend a reliable supplier, and the part number one wouldrequire for the correct NC30 head gasket for use on an NC24 engine?

Thanks spooky. Does anyone have an old NC30 head gasket they could pop in the post ot me / my dad, so we (he!) can see that it does line up. We just want to make sure this will definatly work (my dad wasted £200 on an NC24 engine he was told runs perfectly; ebay seller was not truthfull and it actualy has a burnt out valve )
