Rickstar,

is there a spark off the plugs/leads?

What model plugs are you using?

im thinking yu most likely have a fuelling problem so. Try cranking it off the start button for about 10 seconds and take note if theres little puffs of smoke comin from the exhaust; but get a plug out straight away and check if theres fuel on it. Any liquid will mean fuel, black stuff is oil (bad sign).

After this it may be worth cleanin yur engine mount brackets, cos yu can have spark, but it will dissapate quickly without firing if theres a dodgy path to neutral for the plugs to earth.

Do gsxrs have a similar vacuum fuel tap system as NCs?
rickstar, if you've had the tank off make bloody sure fuel is getting from tank to the carbs.
sounds to me like it might have used the fuel in the carbs in the 1st start, then not got any more from the tank,
and stopped!
