Hi,
I'm now a proud owner of an NC24 which had been sitting in someone's shed for god knows how long in order to bring her back to life, and turn her into a bit of a track day (racing please!?) bike. She's had various new parts and is half way through her new paint job, but still we're having to troubleshoot as she is put back together.

Can someone enlighten me about the fuel tank?
Obviously the large pipe is letting fuel to the carbs, but there are a few more which i'm not sure what they do.
Because the bike's clearly been fiddled about with and then left alone after it wouldn't run, I'm not sure whether or not there's meant to be extra pipes/etc which are missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm itching to get out and ride it and I clearly have practically no patience

Katy ,There should be a vacuum pipe connected to the tap coming from the left hand side of the engine. It opens the tap when the engine is running.
B, is the vacuum pipe in this pic from a how to/guide I found on the web for stripping these bikes to remove the exhaust pipes collector box, A common fault on the nc24.

Yeah, i'll get a couple of pics up in a hour or two actually
but WARNING: it's got my home-made paint job on it, and it's the first thing i've sprayed so it was a bit of an experiment.
At least if i chuck it down the road then I haven't spent mega bucks on a professional paint job, and in my humble opinion it doesn't look too bad

No problem, Glad to help. I,m fixing an NC24 up atm. also, Have to get it painted yet though. :)
