Quick Question
Wondering if someone can help me here..
I have to much free play on my hand controls (accelerator) and have been told that is the cables that need tightening!
But tbh I havent got a clue how to fix this problem.. and its a pain in the arse as when u turn the throttle, for a small amount of time nothing happens! =[
All advice would be really helpfull and appreciated!
Thanks all!

Re: Quick Question
hello-
there is 2 ways to adjust the throttle cable freeplay.first of all the throttle cable freeplay should be between 2-6mm so check it is outside this limit before trying to adjust it.
if it is outside this limit adjust the cable at the throttle side first, you can also adjust the cable at the carbs but this is only if the adjustment at the throttle end has been fully used.
to adjust it at the throttle end slacken off the locknut and turn the adjuster until you have the correct amount of freeplay, then tighten up the lock nut.
