Air box lid

Post by paasker »

Hi.
Got an 1996 nc29 rrr-model.

Had a look at my airbox lid and saw that it has a little pipe attached to it beside to two big inlets. The little pipe doesn't connect to anything on my bike.

Then had a look in my micro fiche and saw that this pipe should only be on the rrl and rrn models. So it seems to be "the wrong lid" for my year of bike.
Is there anyone who knows what the little pipe is for?
Should I just blank the pipe of or what?

Hope somone can help :)

Kind regards
Martin

Yes i've got an RRN and have got the pipe and as L.P said it's connected to nothing. I wouldn't touch it Parus as you may knack something up.
