Fiberglass Rear seat unit for Road

Evening all,
I have to admit to feeling rather ashamed, I purchased an NC30 before xmas which is in need of cosmetic attention allround and the usuall rusty exhaust. valve clearances etc to do. and she is sat naked in the garage ever since.
All I see is some rather nice looking NC30's from you guys which I can only dream about!
I was tempted by some of the cheap PVC fairings of fleabay but having heard some horror stories I wonder if the Jap4 fiberglass jobbies would be a better bet with a basic paint job. just wondering about making the rear seat unit into a road unit, i.e how to fit the lights and perhaps the rear seat if its possible or is it best not to try and fit the rear seat? not sure how the lights will mount ?
cheers.
