NC23 Brake and Clutch levers

Hi there, I'm in the process of looking for some brake and clutch levers for my G Reg NC23. The only reason I need to change the original / standard ones is that I have such tiny hands (I wear an XXS glove) that I'm struggling with the changing gear etc and especially if we're out on a long ride out. It's been suggested to me that I should get either some stubby ones or the dog leg variety. I've looked in all the obvious places but no one seems to have replacement levers for the NC23. Hubby isn't mechanically minded so the thought of having to change the master cylinder and clutch one is a bit daunting.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction please?

Try searching google for the pazzo levers or on ebay maybe..

I have seen a thread on here somewhere about some other levers that look good.. not sure wat they were though..
maybe im mistaken..

Thought the pazzo levers were stubby?

Thanks I'll take a look at them. Unfortunately it doesn't look as though they do the levers for the CBR400. Och well..... back to the drawing board.

A quick scan of Fleebay finds a seller advertising a CBR400 lever, shows that the same level can be used on the following bikes:

1988-94 -- CBR 250 RH-RK, RRL-RRR2
1995-00 -- NSR 250 R7L-R9N
1985-00 -- TRX 250 F
1999-03 -- CB 400 F2N-F3T
1990-94 -- CBR 400 RRL-RRW AERO NC29
1986-87 -- NS 400 RG
1994-96 -- RVF 400 RR/RT
1989-92 -- VFR 400 R3K-R3N NC30
1989-98 -- CBR 600 FK-FW
0000-00 -- NR 750 N NR
1994-98 -- RVF 750 RR/RS RC45
1988-90 -- VFR 750 FH-RL RC30
1992-97 -- CBR 900 RRN-RRV FIREBLADE
1993-97 -- CB 1000 FP-T BIG 1
1987-99 -- CBR 1000 FH-FX

Ergo, one could hazzard a punt, that where Pizzo only did levels for the CBR600 F2,F3,F4... 1991-1997 etc, then those would be compatiable.
HOWEVER...
At $199 for both levers + $65 P&P, £180.32 is a lot to payout for a couple of levers. Thats what happens with a shite exchange rate I guess... but keep looking for levers, that are compatiable with the above bikes... you might find a bargin.

Thanks Graeme. I'll be in touch with you at sometime towards the end of next week to order them.

Iccle, thanks for your input too, unfortunately my bike is the 1989 RRK model.

Graeme - are there any issues with MOT with these levers?

afaik the only MOT requirements are that they work.
If they fouled the fairing or said "Not for Road Use" on them there'd be issues, but otherwise I think you should be OK ?
