can anyone help me out on where to get paint for my cbr400 nc29. i've been repairing the panels and now need paint, the colours are red, white and blue. i can get the red but the white is a differant matter cos i cant get it. it's white pearl (colour code R134A). also i need to get some new stickers for it so need to know where i can get them aswell.

i live in basildon so somewhere in essex would be better but if not ill go anywhere

Try Imageworks for your graphics, there's links in this forum. I had trouble getting pearl white for mine as a paintshop would only do it in 2 pack, if you know what that is. There is someone on ebay that will do touch up pearl white if that's all your after, I think JMautocolour was the seller.

checked on imageworks and they look like the place to go so thanks for that. also what is the easiest way to get the old stickers off cos i got one off and it took ages just by scrapping away with me nail but surely there must be an easier way to get a 20 year old sticker off

i need the paint to re-spray the lower front fairings so need to get some mixed or in a can?

for the paint go to your local mixer/specialist its around a 10er a can, which used right can do a fair area, for graphics check out brooky in this forum he can do a fair amount.

heat gun for the stickers, start from far away and move slowly in as not to cause damage.

tried the heat gun and worked well so cheers... tried some paint suppliers but nobody can pick up the white pearl on the colour code i got which is R134a? is there another code that colour

take a panel in with you perhaps, only hit i got for r1... colour was about fridge gas and air con stuff.
