... the latest incarnation of my `old faithful` NC - we`ve been together now for 15 years and I finally finished this year`s upgrade today.

Spec as follows...
Chassis -
Stock NC30 frame, swingarm with RC30 pro-squat brake torque linkage, RO alloy subframe & screen stay, Tyga alloy front fairing bracket. Custom billet yokes on taper roller bearings holding ZXR400L forks with Maxton internals. Matching Maxton rear shock. Sprint Steering Damper. Stock ZXR handle bars, RO/SES `non-rearset` footrest kit.
Brakes -
Stealth wavy discs all round, stock rear caliper, GSXR600 K2 front calipers on RO adaptor kit with Goodridge lines and EBC Extreme Pro Pads.
Wheels -
Magtek front, VFR750FR rear on RO converted hub, powdercoating by Aerocoat, Pirelli Diablo Corsa tyres.
Engine -
Re-sleeved 495cc NC30 engine with JE pistons - bottom end built & balanced by TTS, head work/valve job/`high velocity` porting by Richard Shepherd.
Transmission -
Stock gearbox, uprated clutch, Renthal sprockets & 520 chain.
Cooling -
RO radiators with Samco hoses.
Fuel -
Modified stock airbox with K&N filter, stock NC30 carbs with drilled slides, 130 main jets & FI needles. Custom 22 litre alloy fuel tank with ignition key operated solenoid tap & dry break fuel line connector. HRC quick action single cable throttle.
Exhaust -
Tyga full stainless twinstack system with alloy cans.
Electrics -
GSXR1000 K7 alternator with G-Force adaptor kit, direct wiring to heavy duty reg/rec, YTR9-BS high capacity battery. Ignitech programmable ignition system running modified HRC program, adapted Aprilia RS250 dash with digital temperature gauge/voltmeter/lap timer (triggered by headlamp flasher switch)and single ultra bright LED shiftlight. Stock lights/indicators.
Bodywork -
Lightweight GRP single seat unit and front mudguard, alloy tank by The Tank Shop, Tyga stock shape 2-piece fairing & screen. 1960s `Golden Age` homage paint job (right down to the suede seat) by Tom Bailey.
I`m pretty pleased with it overall - performance is everything I expected (sorry, no weight or Dyno figures yet) - the only disappointment is that the bottom line of the tank at the rear isn`t quite right, but a stock replica alloy tank is currently under construction.
