Any tips on returning this CBR400 LH Switch gear to its former black glory?

Preferably without having to paint as the Off/Park/On Switch is a bitch to remove (unless there is a knack) In which case I have a good one that this one will replace. :)

'Mer' do a similar product too which has good results.

Hi

The best thing to use is silicon lubricant. You can buy it from Halfords.

It brings it up looking like new.

I heard that peanut butter was pretty good too. Ive not tried it. On reflection though, this could be part of my obsession for using foodstuffs to mend motorbikes. :)
