pretty sure that Graeme France bought one but I do not recall what his results were.

I am personally very sceptical....

chrisxr on the site has developed programmable ones for the VFR and RVF. think they going for 200 pounds and he can programme it for your bike set up before sending to you. a racer on here has given very good feedback, and it hits a few BHP more than the actual RVF HRC CDI. its on my list of must haves :D

When the rain clears up I will post my thoughts on the box of tricks Chris is selling on my road going VFR.
Just fitted it yesterday and started the bike to test it and it seemed to start much easier.
Maybe my old cdi has seen better days.
Just waiting for the software to catch up with the unit so I can see what it is doing in real time but not whilst riding of course :D

Ooops! Sorry long time no write
Anyway!
On initial start up it idled faster due to the advanced ignition and I do not have to use the choke :o
I have not altered anything else apart from swapping the CDI.
It picks up a lot quicker on the road and revs higher before it hits the limiter.
Initial pick up is better but not such a noticeable difference higher up the revs. Some time on a dyno could help but time is always against me these days :(
It accelerates better in higher gears as well so I do not have to drop it down to overtake as much.
When it is connected to the laptop it is great to see the timing and revs change as you twist the throttle :D
All in all I feel it was money well spent and unlike some copies mentioned elsewhere it hasn't given me any trouble so far.

The only minor gripe I have is the fact that it does not fit snugly into the space left by the original cdi due to the PC connection but that is no great problem.
