Not sure if i've ever mentioned what i'm doing with all the 3EN1 questions
Basically i'm using the running gear in another Yamaha R1-Z project i've been working on .
Just posting to say thanks for all the help i've been getting re : wheels ... tyres .... brakes .... forks ......
Today the rolling chassis finally made it out into the sunshine
Fred.
PS rest of the 3EN1 went on to become a Quad Bike

This parts Black & Gold because it will go with my KR Yellow R1-Z bodywork then the finished bike will be Red & White aka Yamaha TZ or possibly TZR Light Blue .... All go well with gold wheels

My FZR 3EN1 fitted Yamaha R1-Z passed its MOT on Saturday morning with just a comment about the clipons being close to the tank but not touching ( Anyone got a set of cheep adjustable 38mm jobbies ) ......

You can fit fzr600 3he clipons to those forks as well as the 3en1's. You might try and put them below the top yoke for a more Cafe Racer look
