I need to change radiator on my bike. I saw topic about this on old forum, but looks like no it's unavailable. I'm thinking to fit CBR600 F2 rad. I read that it fit bolt-on. Any advice will be appreciate.

You will need to login to make the most of the search. I can't remember if you were around back then so here's the highlights:

Dave,

how hard was this fitment. Where I race the temps are often mid 30's celcius, sorry don't do farenheit and the speeds aren't very high so my bike often overheats. Does the F$ radiator provide better cooling?

it wasnt so difficul to do. I had to make new brackets to mount the top as the f4 mounts are wider. Also, I had to go to an auto parts store to find some pre-molded hoses to make it work. Last, there was one port on the f4 radiator that had to capped off.

As far as temperature goes, if it is cold, I put tape over it like the 2-smokers do and its fine.
And
FWIW, I run a cbr600 F4/ F4i radiator. i dont know how it would fit with the new Tyga stuff, but it just fits inside the stock replica body work (fiberglass).
It is 50% larger than stock.
Other rads are talked about ZX6R is a no but '99 R1 could be a yes.

waza on here i think uses the standard rad with the f2 lump and the plumbing was a major pain in the bum.so i would assume the hose points are at the wrong ends for the 4 lump?

Just blank of the pipe. Mine has the radiator stub blanked off with a short hose a bolt and a hose clip.
I really don't believe you'll gain a thing, apart 0.5 of a kilo for the half a liter of water.

Better off with this. http://www.bdkraceeng.com/Electric%20Wa ... p%201.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The benefit of this for me to avoid bike overheating. I generally commute every day and due to the traffic I get bike overheat. I thought bigger radiator should help in it, shouldn't it ?

Could you explain about this ? Do you mean it I increase speed of coolant flow that will reduce engine temperature. Correct?
