rear wheel

Post by rrsp »

does the sp have a different rear wheel than the rr, or have i got a wheel from a 3en or something, when it lines up with the front sprocket ,the disk on the otherside is way off, the disk is in-line with the bearing. as with my sp one the disk stands away from the bearing, iwill have to look at the casting numbers on both wheels, does any one know the different numbers for what bike, !

do they have a different caliper hanger? i know i had problems with one that didnt fit on the rr because it was thinner!
the sp wheel has captive spacers aswell so if you havent got them its not an sp wheel and might need the thicker hanger to line up! or the other way round, maybe you have an sp wheel with rr hanger?
the rear wheel code for the 3tj rr is r69 though!

you might be able to get away with it by adding a washer onto the spindle to space out the hanger so you can still use it? not absolutely sur it will work but might be worth a try?
