76a SP carb pipe/hose questions

I started work on the bike today, as I haven't got a manual I need to check some things.

1 The pipe coming from the intake manifold on cylinder 3 wasn't attached to anything, just open, my guess is that it should attach to the fuel tap, is that correct?

2 what is this relay/sensor for, what does it do? It's on top of the air box.

Image

The hose which it attached to it has a right angle turn at the end, it wasn't attached to anything either!

Image

Does it connect to pipes on the carbs T'd together with white 'T' pieces, that also wasn't connected to anything, see pic.

3 Chris, here is a pic of the CDI with the number on it, the first 3 numbers aren't clear, its 329.

The first pipe is the vaccum pipe that fits on the tank and switches on the fuel when it sensess the engine turn over. Im not sure about the relay but do think it should vent to the card, possibly a pressure sensor, maybe someone with an SP can take a look or try the gsxr forum.
The cdi part No. shows your bike to be a L model SP, this may be of help to Jaicen.

Jaicen, do you have the same bike? Can you confirm if Chris and I are correct about the pipes? Do you know what the sensor on the air box is for?

Thanks
Gazz

I'll have a look tonight, but I'm pretty sure it's the same bike. The fuel tap should have a small hose going to the rear, then two larger fuel hoses from either side. After that, I can't really see without removing my fairings. I will do if need be though.
I'm not entirely sure what the small sensor mounted on the top is for, but i'll have a look later and see if I can trace the wiring somewhere.

Thanks Jaicen, pretty sure that the pipe from no:3 manifold goes to the tap. I would like to know for sure if the hose/pipe from that sensor goes to the carbs as I suspect. Thanks for you help.
