Right ok, i have a badly pitted nc30 stanchion. I also have a spare pair of nc29 forks, so the question is can i rob the good stanchion and fit it to the nc30 lower? These would then be fitted to the nc30.

sounds right.. seeing as you can swap nc30 lowers onto the 29..
