Hi all,
I bought a hugger from a fellow 400GGB member a while ago & I've just got round to fitting it. The problem is, i can't figure out where to secure it at the rear brake side. The chain side is easy, the holes in the hugger marry up with the std holes for the o.e chain guard. Without securing the other side the hugger does not sit right. It came with a bracket, but does not line up with anything. I'm unsure of the make. Any help would be great.

Cheers

Terry

Hi Terry, if it's anything like the Nws hugger the bracket attaches to the triangular linkage bolt, does it have a large hexagonal nut with an internal thread to accept an m6 bolt? If it does that fits in place of the standard triangular linkage nut and the bracket then fits to that. Hope this helps, otherwise I'm not sure, I've had 2 Nws huggers in the past (one of them is for sale as it goes) and they have been very good/easy to install.

Cheers, Riley,
You've nailed in one. I will need to get a nut now. Any chance that you know the overall length of the nut :?:

Thanks,

Terry

I think I might have a spare one on an old swing arm in the garage - I'll check on it when i get back from Afghanistan in a few days.
If I have, its yours and I'll pop it in the post to you.

Cheers Smev
