K-Conversions RC211V bodykits(NC30)

Post by davepm13 »

Hi all,

I'm currently lookin at importing a quantity of K-Conversions RC211V bodykits for the NC30 and was just wondering if anybody had any experience with them? Just wondering what you thought to them in respect of build quality, finish, etc?

Also, would any of you be interested in purchasing them as you wouldn't be taking the risk of importing them from Thailand yourselves? If so, bearing in mind they cost $700 and £165 postage what would you pay for a kit?

Many thanks,

Dave.

Welcome to the site firstly ;)

My opinion of them is that they are not as good quality as oe or even race glass and so I personally would not buy them.

If they were cheaper than the chinese fairings then maybe you would have interest.

I don't personally like the stye or take on the 211V for TYGA or K conversions.

There might be someone on here with the kit..but I would guess the TYGA is prob about 10/1 more popular.

Other opinions coming your way soon - you can count on that!

One of my mates used to have a K-Conversion tail and it did look good but was a tad flimbsy and unless you have the subframe addon you cant take passengers, he got rid of it as he didnt have the subframe addon and got the Tyga fairings which i havnt seen yet but he said they're better quality.

I would not touch them with a barge pole. I would also put any one off of buying any of the sets.

I brought one of there seat units and it was the worst piece of shit I have ever had the misfortune of spending my hard earned money on.

some of the guys here have run that style on their race bikes and the yarn pretty hot. The thought it that the kit impedes good airflow.

i would still go for tyga than k-conversions.

k-conversions - down side: poor quality, the fittings are nightmare!!! good side: cheap.

i heard a lot of comments for tyga because they have a poor design on their headlight, and nothing more (except for being quite expensive). but theres a solution for that, you can buy their race front cowl, pick some OEM CBR60RR headlights, and install them. you need a little bit help from fiber glass fabricators to drill some holes and fit those headlights on.

nothing is impossible for being creative.

All I can say to Domevans is he had some patients as i couldn't get the front to fit at all!!!. The seat unit is ok to give the option of single or two up but subframe useless if you want to revert it back. I actually gave the front away. AARGGGHHH
