rite i got this cbr back yesterday and i now noticed the frame number is nc291010*** which is fine. but the engine code is nc23e1310584 does that mean i got a nc23 engine in my 29??? bloody hope not

This question gets asked pretty regularly.

no it doesn't mean you have a NC23 engine, ALL the NC29 engines have this designation. Presumably the japs have a sense of humour.
