Has anyone done a Tyga conversion on a nc30? Just want to know the quality of the body work.

I have had a few Tyga products over the years and I must say the quality has been getting a lot better. I had a gen 1 seat that needed strengthened, repaired, braced etc etc but you come to expect that fram a company, especially when they were first starting out. I've also got a Tyga metre stay, steering stops, Maggott end can and an RC45 replica seat. The RC seat is certainly very impressive. It's not fitted yet as it will be going off for a re-spray along with other panels but the fitting is like OEM and it even has the lugs at the back for the undertray.

I'd not buy the RCV kit again, but that is for more of a styling reason, although the old 211V seat I had gave lots of bum room and raised the seat height which was good for me. If you are looking info from people with experience then I'd say you won't be disappointed with the new stuff, but the older stuff did need a lot of work.

I was thinking about gettin the whole rc211v kit, but i need a pillion seat as i don't have a car. Thay said there should be one avalible in 6 months...

The parts iv receved recentley from from jap4 have been spot on, well put together, well packed & a good, freindley & informative service.
If i have one fault it would be that the parts dont come with fitting instructions & if you were to go on to the tyga web site & go to fitting instuctions of the new 211v rear seat unit there is just afew pics ov the fitting stages & not a blow by blow comprehensive guide, you can work it out but i prefer instructions.

I bought a carbon bodykit for my little KSR80, and have to say the fit was excellent, quality of edges was nice, weave was a bit pissed (but i am comparing to the MS Production stuff on my Ducati) and was excellent value for money.
Older stuff as has been said has some quality and fit issues but changes have worked for the better, i am sure they will chip in shortly, they seem to keep a beady on threads like this :)

Hmmm, I was also interested in the Tyga conversion. Like you, Pedro, I need to be able to take pillions. Would be interested to see them do a two-seater. I'll have to keep my ear to the ground...

Yeah i spoke to them last week and they said there should be one available in 6 months or so... :D

Pillions on 400s is not cool...just get a true single seat and tell them to get their own bike..lol
