Possibly so but unlikely, all of the mods on that bike could have been done by anyone, ok it was a larger rad (this TBF is the only thing this bike has that mine doesnt) and has had a number of mods done as mentioned in the HRC manual like mounting the coils on the frame but....

if this bike really was a HRC F3 item why doesnt it have the HRC system, rearsets, can? why is the frame and swingarm powdercoated, ok it has HRC rep ramair (readily available from Graeme) and a HRC temp gauage which are all over Yahoo Japan.

Also there are a few other things that bother me...the spare wheels are standard honda items, the upgraded brakes are just NC30 items (easy mod to do) and I am not convinced that the rear wheel is even a Magtek.

If this bike was a true F3 item the engine internals would suerly be mentioned there is to much that just doesnt add up....

I think its just a race bike allbeit a well put together one.....there is not even a mention if the engine is good or not, total loss, starter mortor??

The things that you have mentioned are the same things that made me wonder.

The spare wheels for one and the fact that no mention of any engine work.

But you never know, it might be worth a £1000 just to see what is in it.

I asked a few technical questions - no real answers and now its been pulled and bids canceled - so much for stressing genuine bids only - complete waste of everyones time.

As far as i can work out its a fraud, although a good bike for a domestic series rider.
If as some of you have stated if the engine was HRC it would list the goodies inside to aid the sale.
I am lucky to have the HRC catalogue (yes im still sending it Graeme lol) for the NC23 but i have never seen evidence of a catalogue for the NC29.
I have to say i like the look of that radiator lol. aint it a honey.
Just remember that HRC stickers are the easiest thing in the world to get made and as they are sticky they can be put anywhere and they look genuine.

I can say i have got 3 very special CBRs in New Zealand as i built them all but they are far from being HRC stuff , limited editions are common in Japan by the dealer network shops.
A mate here just landed a 2006 CBR 600 and its got so much HRC crap on it its awesome, and it goes like a bastard to boot. All it was racing in was club events but a dealer wanted to win all those events so he built a goodie.

Cheers Paul.

Just going to put the cat amongst the pidgeons, but being HRC; does it necessarily mean it's that good? Take for instance Ten Kate. HRC havent got near them in Supersport and are struggling in the Superbikes too.
