Bar ends.

OK so I haven't got my bike back yet, but I remembered that I need new bar ends...

..right one is bent and wont screw back in properly and the left one is, well.....gone.

I'm not looking to buy originals, unless I have to. So are they any particular ones that would be best suited to the bike.

I'm asking because I was told all bar ends are weighted to suit the bike that they are made for.

To my knowledge, bars ends do serve several purposes.

Thats is a cosmetic finish, a protector of the clip on and as an antivibration weight. That is that its a weight designed to help dampen vibrations you may experience in the clip on and ease fatigue, allegedly. I have ridden bike of the same model with and with out bar ends and not really noticed a difference thats worth writing home about.

I wouldnt really concern myself over the weighting too drastically, after all my SES Clip ons dont have the option for the weights, so I dont have the choice :)

I only notice on motorway riding, the vibration in the left bar feels like the bar may come off - it does get quite bad.

So a pair of universal ones would be fine?

I plan to do a lot more miles this year so I want to get the one decent pair as apposed to buying a set and finding out they're not quite right and having to buy another  .
