NC30 sensible tyre choice advice please

Hello, I've done a search but the site keeps crashing and I did ask on another thread but no reply. So apologies if this is the millionth time this has been asked
I'm on my second set of 090's in 18 months and the bike has done less than 10,000 kms on them.
I don't have the dosh to get a 17'' back wheel so I know choice is limited.
The 090's are great for riding on but are crap for my pocket due to logevity being so short.
Is there another tyre out there for a standard NC30 rear that will cope with the odd trackday and general road riding and last more than 5 mins?
I used to have diablos on my GSXR 600 and they were great for all round stuff.
Many thanks in advance for your help

Bridgestone BT92's will last a little longer. Not a sticky as 90's (although I did do a track-day on 92;s before), but will last longer for you.

now i may stand corrected, but i believe no tyre manufacture makes a dual compound tyre for the 400cc category, so its either a stcky tyre like a dunlop alpha 10 or bridgestone BT090 or a long wearing tyre like the bridgestone BT92 or 014

Thank you, that's good to know as my 090's are silly squared off fron and rear thanks to sensible winter riding

Another vote for the BT92's here, on the road I didn't find that much difference between them and the 90's, both felt completely planted, not sure about track use though...

iv been on 092's for about 5 months (2500 miles) now and there's still a good mil until i hit the wear indicator on the center, mind i am riding restricted so less power to rip the wheel up, but iv found the tyres great, very planted and not had a single problem grip wise

Thank you for your replies. I was told that 090's were the ONLY tyre to have for the NC30, which is fine if you can afford a few sets a year.
I'll look up prices in a bit, I'm presuming they'll be similar to the 090?
Only got one trackday booked this year so far at Mallory in September. The rest of my riding is just daily stuff with the odd group ride out and trip to Skeggy for MCN
