I have a set of genuine Hrc carbs which I am contemplating selling. Trying to put a price on them, I have an idea what I would like for them but would appreciate some input. I don't accept magic beans, flint or buttons unfortunately :) .

What is geniuine HRC about them? They have the full kit?
The kit is £100 or so - the carbs on their own about £60?
I would pay £80 max for them I suppose? depends if all the spare needles, jets and what not comes with it and whether it was HRC kit or the replica kit from RickO

Those rear bellmouths look like more like a `cut & shut` than genuine HRC, Paul.
I trust you`re not casting aspersions at my precision engineered replicas, Mr. James...!

Thanks for the input so far, I think some further investigation is required, the carbs are from a jap import which hasn't been registered yet the spec of the bike suggest it has had a huge amount of money spent on it, the next stage will have to be to remove the carbs and dismantle them some more.

Certainly not Mr Oliver, Sir.
I have never seen a set of the 20mm bellmouths and as I have a bastardised set of RVF carbies myself I would be keen to know what the official HRC styleis like.
I am in the market for one of the RVF replica kits in a few months when I stop haemorraghing money on other things!

Well well well :D
Can some one confirm what a HRC set of carbs should be like? What size are the front and rear stacks etc etc give the general low down of what is expected of them.
Ive had these in my hands before, to the best of my knowledge fullfil the genuine criteria.
FWIW, the stacks arent cut items

Paul - The reason I made that comment is that the real HRC bellmouths are `flared` like the other pair on your carbs, not `rolled` like what you have there. This made me think that your 30mm stacks, though undoubtedly genuine Honda parts , were a pair of original 50mm items which had been cut down (or maybe they`re just a bit beaten up...).
J9MA/B/C are the HRC-spec needles.
