NC30 17" Rear wheel

Post by rabutcher »

Been looking at changing the rear wheel on my VFR, looking at going the Delkevic wheel and RVF400 linkage route and maybe suspension upgrade at some point. Just woundering if there's any change in the handling.

None that you'd notice. Acceleration should be a bit better, the seat will sit a little lower and it'll give a few more tyre options. Other than that there's no real noticable 'real world' difference.

thats what i thought. Only reason i want to do it is to use supercorsa pro's as i had them i my R6 and loved them. it was more of a drop in performance i was concerned about than any gains.

thanks

Hi Rob, if it is any use to you I can supply you with a genuine Honda Rvf rear wheel with nice origonal black paint and an Rvf Dogbone linkage for £210 or £225 with the Rvf triangular linkage too plus £15 postage (assuming your in the Uk). Hope this helps Paul.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.

personally ive gone for the 17" rear wheel, but WIDER in the form of the vfr750 5 spoke wheel, though ive yet to have spare money to have RickO get my rear hub moddified to suit.

though is on here if you search ( SMEV and i think riley has had it done) the cost of the wheel and the hub modifiation etcc is about £200 ish.
