Hi all I have a NC29 and I bought an exhaust off the old 400 forum a while back. The problem I got is the oil filter is touching the exhaust. I would just like to know if this is supposed to be like this or do I need to put some dents in the exhaust so it doesnt touch the oil filter.

should be about an inch gap, wouldnt like to put a dent in the headers as this would resrict air flow

I've bought 3 oil filters from 3 different suppliers. 1 was smaller but not in diameter only a little shorter but it still touches my pipes. Today I was checking my chain, I had the bike up on a paddock stand and oil started peeing out from around the oil filter area ? I think the headers may have burnt an hole in it.
Can someone post a pic of the oil filter / headers gap please
