hi everyone and thanks in advance, my question is will removing the instruments (revcounter, idiot lights, speedo etc) make my nc29 misfire, stutter etc at higher revs about 6-7k i think, can.t tell for sure without the revcounter? Nothing else has been touched. Thanks in advance

Yes the restiction circuit is in the speedo, so removing this will cause the bike not yo rev past 6-7K

is there a way to bypass this without refitting the clocks? Thanks

i think you will need to remove the restriction switch from the clocks but keep it plugged in,tape it up so water doesn't get in and damage it,this would cause the bike to misfire if it got water in it etc!!!
your other option is de-restricting the bike by means of fitting a de-restrictor cdi.

How about a used tested MMAx derestriction box - simply plugs into you loom where the clock based restrictor used to be. Job done.
