Nc23 Forks

Post by Matt »

Hi all,
I've got my NC23 forks stripped at the moment for new seals and fresh oil, and when they came apart i noticed that the Damper Rod Bolts are different lengths on each fork. Below are some pics of the stripped forks, apologies for the poor quality.

In the pics below you can see the two different length bolts:

One of the bolts measures 27mm, and the other measures 18mm. Surely they should be the same length? They appear to be the original bolts.

I'd be muchous gratious if anybody could shed a little light on this for me!

Cheers, Matt

What is the problem - Damper Rod is tubular inside.... maybe bolt with other length will fit...
