dynojet kit?

Post by scratchin »

im fitting a dynojet kit and the instructions are a bit vague, can anyone tell me if im right in thinking that the slide lift holes that i need to drill are the two holes next to the needles at the bottom of the diaphram pistons

That's the ones I drilled out and mine seems to be working ok. As a footnote to that, I'd be very sparing with the glue when you come to fitting the collars as I had to strip and clean the needles out after doing mine, they got all junked up after a few minutes running.

Hope that helps.

I phoned Graeme to ask what way he set his up as I was using one of his race exhausts, and ended up having to lift the needle one notch from what he recommended as a base setting. I've dynojetted a few bikes and from memory most of them have been fairly spot on going by what they recommend. If you're thinking of sticking it on a rolling road after that'll give you a better idea of how close you are.
