What exhaust is this?

Post by mavisravis »

I bought this recently from one of the members here, sorry can't remember who though . I think it's an ethos, can anyone confirm or deny?

Don't think it is an Ethos myself..at least not one of the popular styles.

Is it a full system - no rear manifold?

If not, what does the plate that mounts to the rear manifold look like?

No it uses the stock rear manifold and downpipes. the rear mount is a pressed steel plate about 7mm thick

It doesn't look like one of the common Jap systems to me.

I'll deny. I bet my 2cents on it's not an Ethos, guys. IMHO is a genuine single sided TSR half system (but minus the end can as pictured as this end can is not TSR) ;)

(b.t.w. you are missing 2 exhaust springs on the last mount points shaped like a horizontal V (>) before the end can, and the craftmanship in the small bit of ' plate' welded on the y-piece says all...).

Yes, it looks a well made system, it fitted very easily, unlike some I've fitted on other bikes that need a lump hammer to fit!! Yep, I need a couple of springs, not got round to fitting them yet. So, is the TSR a decent system?
