i have them on my VFR400 (which is similar weight and speed) and i cannot recommend them enough. i had Bt090 on the bike for ages and just for the hell of it i put an alpha 10 part worn on during the late summer. it has been fantastic, even in the damp old crappy roads in ireland, and that says a lot!!

Fantastic tyres - probably the best Super Sport 400 road tyre to date - down side is they don't last too long when used hard - especially the rear and in bad rain not as good as say the touring biased BT92 - but having said that it's what we use all the time on the road and for track days.

£175 the pair all in delivered BTW or free fitting to loose wheels if you pop by ..

i had them on my vfr400 also and they were brilliant.....the grip and feedback when fast road riding was superb, but on the downside they lasted no time at all......but thats what happens when you ride hard and thats why you buy the alpha 10.

i now have bridgestone bt0-14 at the moment and i am very happy with them also, grip is very good and inspire confidence in the wet.....tbh,i never had any issues with the alpha10s in the wet.

but if it's fast road riding you want and you don't care how many miles you get out of them then the alpha 10 is the tyre to try

Graeme, what has taken over (evolved) from the BT092?
remembering how hard it is to get a pair these days.. i prefer to stick to H rated tyres

Dunlop GPR100's are a similar compound tyre and H rated.

used Dunlops before... wont be going back to them, made bike feel very unstable in the slightest bit of wind due to the extreme profile. felt great round corners.. only!
