Just found this on the pb forum.

Fzr 400 frame, fireblade motor....F***ing mental! And the triumph daytona 650 fairing fits so well. Makes the 600 conversions look tame....
Check out 'built for go not for show' in the project area of the pb forum. (sorry dont know how to make a link to the site!)

judging by the size of the rear sprocket and a 929cc motor it mite be a bit keen to get light at the front

Posh front end as well.
I knew there was a conversion with a Blade 918cc in it

Wow thats cool
I suspect there is a little more work involved than the 600/660 conversion but I could be tempted. Think i'd make the engine a big bang motor though through getting special cams made up just for the full moto gp sound effect

I Think it's a 918.
There was another old 3TJ special in Performance Bikes ages ago that used a 918 Blade engine. The guy who owmed it was here (well the old forum) and then had it on e-bay a little while ago. The front sprocket nearly lines up and the back mounts drop in ... I think it's just the top left engine mount that needs modding ... and the head needs bracing of course

If it was the blue one with some pink bits here and there on it i owned it a few years ago :) Went like a rocket but needed the forks changing as they weren't up to the job. It was a very tidy conversion and wish i hadn't of sold now but thats like many of the bikes i've owned in the past :)
