Clean up / Housekeeping of the Forum

Post by CRM »

So all,
Just thinking about a little clean up exercise and database housekeeping.
What are the collective and regular members thoughts on this
1 - any user accounts registered but never posted ie have zero post count, and not been active in 2022 are just deleted
2 - new user accounts need to post a single post by way of an introduction in a certain area - once done the account is marked as active.
Anyone registering, and not posting within a week then the account is purged.
3 - consolidation of member groups, the NWAA was great for a while and generated quite a bit of income for the North West / Wales Air Ambulance, but its run its course. Just put everyone in the same group with the same rights.

Cleaning up of certain sections and consolidating
Creating new folders in sections (are any required ?)

Got another busy week with one thing and another but Constructive comments most welcome and will check back when i can

Can't disagree with any of the three points

1: Yes - do it
2: Yes - makes sense
3: Again makes sense - should other groups be needed in future then can be looked at

Current split works for me

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Unsure but if you mean treat everyone as equal that sounds good
