Question about the RC30 seat cowl graphic

I've seen some RC30's with "RC30" on the seat cowl and others with "VFR750R" on the cowl. Why is it different? I much prefer the look of the VRF750R lettering myself, but I'm just curious about the distinction and figured someone here might know. Thanks!
VFR750R
versus
RC30

I've only ever seen the VFR750R graphic, never the RC30. Gosh, isn't that one gorgeous motorcycle? I was actually looking at the Tamiya model kit for the RC30 (it's around £20) yesterday. Been a long time since my Airfix days but I might just give it a go.

Checked out the Tamiya kit. As well as the cost of the kit there's the price of the various paints to add on, this includes spray cans for the fairing. Plus a couple of optional tools to make the job easier. So all in I reckon you can double the cost of the kit. That's me out then.

The RC30 graphic was on US models I think you will find.

^^^ this is correct.
And yes the RC30 is still a tasty looking thing that looks special even today and is ageing well.
Now the RC45 however . . . . . . .
Lolz i will leave that there

Agree with it still looking the dogs, one went through on Fleabay today, nice UK bike, but far from mint at a tidy 25K, keep dropping those 1s and 2s into my piggybank......

If the RC30 is parked next to the RC45 then the '30 has the edge. But in my opinion the same can't be said for the NC30 vs NC35. I don't know why, but if it's scaled down then the '35 is the better looking bike. Of course others may (and will) disagree.

i actually agree with that, the 30 is a great and better built bike, but the 35 has the proportions and styling edge, but as for the 750 - from some angles i found my RC45 just weird looking and while it was faster, lighter and possibly a "better" bike, it was so cramped and when it came to the keys, i always took the 30 keys over the 45 when heading out for a spin.
Kept it 2 years and sold it, never looked back or missed it.
