Being over 40 im not one for video games but ive got tt superbikes for my 3 boys ps2 last weekend and what a game!i bought the original a few years ago after i had a rather unfortunate trackday "off" in france that put me off work for nearly a year in total and had plenty of time to kill and tt superbikes filled plenty of it,the new one is very similar BUT you can do the full tt course on the rotary nortons of steve hislop and robert dunlop, foggys 0wo1,hailwoods(tt comeback 78 ducati) and a whole host of other legends(agostini, jefferies, grant etc) and race the island against them.also you can race at the nw200,olivers mount, ulster gp and others.the tracks are very well rereated and the bikes look and sound stunning(apart from hailwoods 250 6 cylinder honda)anyone else tried it?i know its not real riding but its as close as youll get when its cold and wet and dark.winter has just got slightly easier!!

Gotta agree best game ever, although I've not tried the new one.
Raced the circuit for real last year at the manx and its so realistic. Is it worth buying the the new one if you have the original game?
If so I know what I want for Christmas :D

only if you fancy racing some classic stuff,0w01,paton 500gp,rs500,mv3,honda 6,rotary nortons among others it seems a bit easier than the original or so it seems, but i may be better at the game maybe(i managed 16.22 @138 mph yesterday on the taz suzuki)its as per the original p0lus the nw200,ulstergp,abadare park etc and you can change the bike setup during races in race now mode, the only major change from the original is you cant use the analogue buttons to steer which was a pain as i had to use the stick and the buttons when my hand and arm were in a cast and i ended up playing that way all the time.i think its worth it as it gives the game another dimension being able to race against my heroes on their bikes.

Ive got the original game but didnt know they have brought out a new one. Is it available for ps3?
Sounds good with some proper bikes (allthough the old one had the fzr4) and additional circuits too. Olivers Mount is local to me but i dont think i would dare ride it fast, after the monument the drops are huge!

Theres two new tt superbikes games from jester the second tt s/bikes came out about 10 months ago and is called tt superbikes real road racing championship, which not only has the isle of man but also most of the irish real road circuits and the nw and macau gp to boot plus lots of new bikes of course.i didnt buy ttsbrrc as it had some bad reveiws but looking on the jester website(ttsb has its own forum) i think i may have been a bit daft not to buy it.but tt s/bikes legends is awsome you can get it off e-bay for about 15 quid which is a bargain if you ask me as its just so playable and the jps rotary norton sounds and plays brilliantly and theres also schwantz,s pepsi suzuki(kev raced it at macau)the 500gp paton which is absolutely beautifull also ron haslams rs500 honda, hizzy on a rotary, foggy on an owo1(they do look like fzr400rrsp,s i swear!) plus ago on the mv augusta 500-right im off for another 3 laps on the norton!
