Fork Cartridge Rebuild

I was rebuilding my forks when I notice that one of the cartridges were not pumping fluid back up on compression.

When the fork was fully assembled, it was confirmed that I was not getting compression damping on one side.

I was wondering if this was intentional from stock and if it isnt, has anyone tried rebuilding the cartridge damper and have a vague recollection on what was done to complete this.

Thanks in advance.

Have you stroked the damper rod to remove any strapped air?

Yes I did. The rebound stroke there instantly is fluid. The compression stroke just spits. If you go fast enoguh a little fluid comes out.

Can only suggest you remove the compression valve at the base of the damper tube and check that the valve has not become jammed open by foreign matter in the oil.
