does anyone know if the rr and sp rear subframes have any differences.can i mount a the sp single seat on an rr subframe.i only ask as ive never seen a standard rr subframe and i want to make sure i buy the right one.i dont need anywhere to mount the shock reservoir as im using a 2co r6 shock, any ideas?im off to look at a 21000 mile old 97 thundercat tommorrow,i thought it might be better to buy a whole bike for hybrid no.2 rather than source all the bits separately, meaning that i can get the motor ,carbs, loom, downpipes and ecu,but should also be able to use the clocks, levers, master cylinder, and a host of other bits and flog the rest off on e-bay in the spring and try to break even.

I was told the shock remote mout is the only difference with the subframes.

The ThunderCat has a pressuried airbox, and check second gear doesn't jump

The sp and rr sub frames are different. The sp seat unit wont fit the rr sub frame and vice versa. The sp seat has 4 bolting points wereas the rr seat panels plug in to rubber gromets as well as bolting on.
It is possible to modify the rr sub frame but the mount holes dont line up. I ended up fabricating a new lighter sub frame on mine.
