Can't really find a how-to anywhere, is this because it's super simple? Do I really have to remove the fuel tank though? :/
Cheers

I have the 2002 vtec model, i think it'll be the same or similar.
Take off the seat, the two side panels and unscrew the main tank bolt near the battery. Then there will be a rubber hose to the fuel tank, if you have a fuel tap, turn it off, then carefully take the hose off.
There should be two breather hoses at the back of the tank, remove those, and on the right hand side of the tank (as your sat on it) is a small electrical connector for the fuel level sensor. After that it should be OK to lift up and off.
Air filter is under the tank yes but only a few bolts to undo.
Hope this helps :)

If it's the earlier model (mine is a 1992) it's even easier. The rounded plastic component on the left hand side of the air filter housing is held on with a single Phillips screw lurking behind the carb. Then the component (no idea what it's called) lifts off and the air filter cover plate is held on with 3 bolts. Five minute job.
