DIY GK76A Engine Stand

As I'll be working on the engine for the next few weeks (or months!) I knocked this DIY stand up from some timber blocks I had lying around.
Quite pleased with it.
It may not look much, but it does the job and it cost me just my time, unlike some of the explensive stands I've seen.
The tricky part was getting the dimensions exactly right.

Hopefully It's solid enough for some serious torquing. ;)

OK, I've had to make a few mod's to my DIY stand to make it a bit stronger.
It was fine with the engine just resting, but as soon as I started removing some of the corroded bolts it started wobbling under the strain.
I've added some struts and braces that I picked up from Wickes for peanuts.
It's as solid as it needs to be now, and ideal for top end rebuilds or any work under the side casings, clutch etc.
If anyone needs the dimensions or specs, send me a message.
