Help!

While disassembling my front forks, I partly stripped the thread that the fork drain bolt goes into. Now, when the shock is loaded, oil seeps from that area. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? I can't afford to replace the entire fork.

what's the best way to position the shock so I can remove the bolt without draining the fluid?

I would recommend getting that fix properly. Suspension is a vital functional part of your motorcycle and you don't want it to give out while you out riding. Then of course i dont think that will happen.
