Hi guys need some help my gk76a got spark and petrol but doesn't want to start. Any advise?

Loads of threads on this but as a start:

- correct cdi fitted to bike?
- fully charged battery?
- enough compression from engine?
- clean plugs?
- lh coil leads feeding plugs 1+4, rh feeds 2+3
- throttle stop not set correctly

Did the bike used to run ok, and now it won't? (ie no fingers been dabbling with the bike)?

Yes bike has been running we took the enjin apart checked timming, plugs, compression is right,battery cdi is giveing spark to plugs?. Got spark and fuel.

Two most prominent reasons for this are:
* in case the bike was sitting for considerable period of time with dismounted carbs, inner passages are clogged. you might get the impression that bike has fuel because some passes through choke circuit but pilot circuit might need some cleaning.

* check HT wires; they tend to fall off plug caps when fiddling with engine without prior warning creating short circuit paths for high voltage preventing engine running.

* there's a possibility that final stage switching circuitry of CDI is blown. this wouldn't happen suddenly but it is possible that some of changes you've made had an effect which being accumulated with CDI state results in no start. getting some spark does not mean that you actually can burn the mixture under compression.

* do you have spark on all 4 plugs? maybe circuitry or coils itself are faulty

(yet still I bet for carbs, I had similar issue with my Bandit years ago; spark plugs were wet after cranking but no start despite I cranked the engine to point where battery was nearly worn out completely. After I rebuilt carbs from scratch the bike cranked immediately)

Yes been there, 99% of the time its pilot circuit not flowing correctly so wet plugs from choke but not starting.

Other possibility is duff pick up so sparks but not starting, check ohm reading is within range.
