I present my latest toy: a Honda VFR 400 NC30 from 1991
As far as I know it's standard, except the laser end can
It's the Japanese model

After buying it I had her completely checked at the local dealer and had the rear tyre changed (BT090)






First I wanted to keep her as standard as possible, but after a few weeks that intension was completely forgotten

Changes I plan to do:
- Steel braided brake lines
- New chain (what is a good chain and what does it cost?)
- Front fork upgrade
- Samco Red coolant hoses
- Change some bolts into titanium ones
- Some tyga stuff like brake and clutch lever and those beautifull fork caps (http://tyga-performance.com/site/produc ... ts_id=1142" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
- (A steering damper)
- (Tyga exhaust system)

Then I started counting and came to a total cost of way to much
I guess most of us know that feeling

haha,i know that feeling mate!!!!

it looks a nice clean example of a nc30 there,it would be a shame to fiddle with it.
does it have a mph converter fitted?

No and there's no use to do it since I'm from belgium and we count in km's

are you in belgium now or in the uk?

might explain why there was no mph overlay lol!!!

i think you should loose the unnecessary red bits though.

I bought her with the red bits and actualy I like it like this
Aspecialy with the red coolant hoses and a few red annodised details I plan to install I think (hope) it wil look nice

By the way I noticed I placed this topic in the "V4-workshop" instead of the "V4-general" section so if any of the mods could move it please

I really like that colour scheme.

I'd personally start with braided brake lines, look nice and given that most people don't change their lines every 4 years most likely well overdue changing anyway.
