3tj calipers, is there a difference?

Hi all,

I'm currently rebuilding a set of RR front calipers for a friend and the brake seal kit we ordered in has the wrong sized big seals (ordered for a RRSP)! The small seals are the correct size at 27mm, however the big seals are a few mm too small. The big pistons in these calipers measure 34mm. Does the RRSP have smaller big pistons? I did look at the microfiche before ordering and apparently the RR and the RRSP use the same seal kits?

I think we've had this problem with Wemoto before. Every time the buyer has to complain but they still don't change it

Hi EC, Yep I just found that post. It wasn't from wemoto, but somewhere someone must have the wrong calipers listed for the 3tj and has spread it to every supplier of brake seals. Here is the link we got them from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZR-40 ... 0985589575 . I've just noticed they also have some listed for the RR. I've just sent them a message to see if they have different sizes listed for the two.

What's also odd is wemoto have front seals listed for the RR but not the RRSP. For the rear seals the RR is £3, but for the 4DX and RRSP it's £7.85!? I thought these were also the same?
