Because I'm always cautios after running out once, but I guess there is a reserve. How far will that take me?

You should ride it:-) that's how to find out! You can figure out your fuel consumption by filling up, riding as filling up again, then apply that to your ~3l reserve (budget 2-2.5 just in case maybe ;-))

I've got 250/260kms before reserve and then 15/20kms on reverse before sense got the better of me and I filled up. Like others have said, fill it and get out on it,reset the trip every time always carry your mobile and learn from that

Yep 250kms. I filled the tank last Tuesday and went to see the NW200 practice, 247kms later I hit reserve and I'm around 258kms now and still running but very empty.
