i think iv found cheep twin shotgun exhaust system
as title says, was looking at race boadywork and found this company also make a carbon twin shotgun system for an nc35 (which i believe will fit an nc30 aswell) with link pipes etc for £350, which seems bloody cheep to me (alright it isnt a full system but still)

and they will add very little performance to the bike...no more than fitting a race can anyway.

how so? they are like any other twin stack!?tanuki wrote:and they will add very little performance to the bike...no more than fitting a race can anyway.
you will need to cut the std RVF system where the can would bolt on and fit the pipes.
same as rhorys!

A race can must surely be lighter tootanuki wrote:no more than fitting a race can anyway.

Re: i think iv found cheep twin shotgun exhaust system
I think £350 is too much for 2 links and 2 cans.
These guys had a stack on the bay and I asked some Q's - they offered to make me a can at £80 each.
As I have a Yammy (literally chopped it up 20 minutes ago too..
) I am going to get some cans and have some link pipes made.
The stack that Graeme is selling @ £450 is also bloody harsh for effectively links and cans with a chopped RVF system thrown in..
See tom wood's thread in the workshop too - he wants new cans as he currently has very heavy cans.
I hope the seperation of the cyl banks does make a difference as I will be fecked off if it does not!!

i seem to recognise that picture, with the blue splodgy painted rear? Was it not an old forum member? I would have expected around £100 per can, £50 for link pipes, and say £25 for straps so does not look that cheap to me.

Re: i think iv found cheep twin shotgun exhaust system
I would not say that is true my man because the normal system runs 4 into 1. But if you run a twin stack you can run 2 into 1 so the exhaust will flow better. Plus you can jet specific for top and bottom exhausts.and they will add very little performance to the bike...no more than fitting a race can anyway.
As for £350 being cheap I would not say so at all. You can buy a Tyga full system for £400 from headers to end can. I know it is a single system but all you would be buying is 2 pipes and 2 cans.

o then bad call on my part, but i cant see how people are saying they will do very little for performance whenthere's a thread going where every says a twin can system is the best because of you can jet better
and i think they look really nice, although the hrc style badges would have to go, id probably copy rhory and get a yoshi badge or similar
